Green eyes of the cat

With little flights of sparrows

Slowly passing by

And in her slumber

Hopping jumping and climbing

She is flying too

Thee tiny tile cat

With all thy precious gestures

Thou art free indeed

Bashō my master

Sitting calmly near his pond

Had his little frog

Thee tiny tiger

In the pond of my armchair

Thou jumpest swiftly

And thy sweet purring

Sounds far nicer than the plunge

Of his little frog
